DISC Tip Pen is Hard To Write With

Who had the dumb idea of placing a round, rubber disc onthe tip of a pen??? Pens have a narrow tip for a reason. This stylus is useless. I can't write with a round disc. I tried to make it work, but I'm returning. it. Why should I work around the pen?? How many people sat around a board desk and decided a stylus with a round tip would be a good idea?
