Hollister New Image Flat FlexWear Ostomy Skin Barrier is part of a two-piece pouching system. The FlexWear barrier is a standard wear skin barrier that provides excellent adhesion to the skin and is designed to be worn for more than one day. They have a moderate level of adhesion, are erosion-resistant, and are suitable for all skin types. A standard wear barrier would be appropriate for people with colostomies or for children, including toddlers and infants. The skin barrier has an integrated beige floating flange, which allows fingers to be placed under the flange, to help minimize pressure on the abdomen when attaching a pouch. The 14202 is designed with a tape border for a 1-3/4” flange size and cut-to-fit up to 1-1/4"". New Image skin barriers are here to help meet the needs of each unique body with a variety of options. The skin barriers are available in both cut-to-fit and pre-sized options, with and without a tape border, and extended wear and standard wear. They are designed to be used with any New Image drainable, closed, or urostomy pouch with a matching flange size.
