I can tell by the weight of the sneaker and insole thickness that it will be a casual sneaker that won't offer a good amount of support for my ankles, feet and knees for distance walking. However for a gym class or weight lifting, they will work perfectly. I understand why quality means higher cost so it makes sense.

Loved the first pair I got and went back for two more pair in different colors. These shoes are wonderful!! I am diabetic and need really comfortable shoes, but with good support. These are as nice as my Brooks Ghost shoes. You can't go wrong with these!!

I had a vacation planned and I wasted my sketchers and my dryer broke. I let them air dry and it was taking so long I thought I better get a backup pair. The Avis's were so inexpensive but I worried that they might hurt my feet. We had planned to spend the first day walking around town. I forgot about my shoes. They were so comfortable the whole time! I have ordered some for my girls and they loved them! I recommend these especially if you have troubles with shoes! I never had a blister! What a great find.
