I've been doing machine embroidery for about ten years now. I have sold a few things, but mostly I create things for family and friends. I love my Janome MC500E embroidery machine. The 8 x 11 hoop allows me to make large projects that I couldn't make with my first embroidery machine. I have attached pictures of some of my favorite projects.

An absolutely incredible and fun machine to use
This is a beautifully designed machine with trustworthy precision engineering and finished results that I can expect to be consistent and look fantastic, every time. I've used it nearly every day the last 3 weeks and, with regular maintenance and cleaning, it has performed flawlessly. I'm truly blown away by what Janome has created. It has allowed my wife and me to realize a great number of our own artistic designs in embroidery. I love this thing. It's even fun to watch it do its work, because I know I can trust it to finish what I've tasked it with. And I can go do other things while the 500e is working. The body design is also very well developed. I'm a tall, hairy gorilla and I can run this machine like it's made for my size. All of the subtle angles and soft edges provide unencumbered access, easy threading, great visibility, and maintenance is not a hassle. The software and touchscreen interface are very clear and not confusing. Options are vast. There is nothing I'd pick nits over with this. I'm a huge fan of Janome now. This my jam. Haven't tried the hat hoop yet. But otherwise, everything that came with it has worked as it should and provided the use it should.
