I purchased this scope for

I purchased this scope for a CVA Cascade chambered in . 350 legend, and it is exactly what I was hoping it would be. The lens quality is extremely impressive, even when compared to the high end optics offered by other manufacturers. The reticle is crisp and clean and the magnification adjusts easily even in bitter cold. The scope holds zero and each turret click is solid without feeling mushy. I haven't had the opportunity to test the CDS dial at varying ranges, but it return to original zero after dialing out to max range and the back. My only complaint would be that the CDS dial doesn't lock or have some kind of a firmer detent. This scope was purchased for a youth rifle and I am concerned that at some point the CDS could be unknowingly turned. All things considered, though, this is truly a solid scope.

Placed on my son's first

Placed on my son's first rifle and it's perfect for a youth beginner. My only concern is the CDS not having a lock-wish there was a “tougher” detention just to get out of the zero. Used to that security on the VX-5 and 6. If this were there it would be an absolute steal for the price! Still believe it is an exceptional scope for the price.

Perfect for deer hunting! I

Perfect for deer hunting! I mounted this scope on a Browning X-Bolt in . 243 Win. Performs flawlessly. Great light collection at dawn and dusk, when a good quality scope matters most! Would definitely buy again. . . because I did! I have two of these so far.
