The line of inquiry is extended to the males of direct de scent, the females being noted only in their births, marriages, or deaths; had the collateral branches been included, the work might have been too voluminous. The record, for the greater part, is brought down to a date sufficiently near, and will enable any interested in the subject to easily trace his lineage.
To assist in studying the record, two columns of figures aregiven, the first column to each name in succession, and the second column shows where the individual appears at birth, or marriage.
