One day the writer was most agreeably surprised to receive through the mail, a book written by his sister, Miss Frances C. Willis, containing a genealogy of the Willis Family of New Jersey and their ancestors by marriage. This book had been prepared after many years of labor and research, 011 the part of Miss Willis in looking up old records of births, marriages and deaths, going back in instances for more than three hundred years, and was complete so far as she could trace the genealogy of the family and connections, in this country.
