Studio Canvas Panel, 100% Cotton Acid Free Canvas, 6"X6", 3 Pieces

So, you are not an artist (or maybe you are). I am not. But I am crafty and work with graphics often. These panels are made of 100% cotton, so I thought using some transfer paper would work to get some cute graphics to transfer onto an already primed canvas. I was bumming as I had to wait after receiving this 3 pack of 6 x 6 canvas panels. My transfer paper took forever to come in the mail. This is how I did these 3 canvas panels. I am not finished just yet, but I could be as I think they look good as they turned out. Get your graphics that you want to want to transfer. Either made or free. Make sure they are sized within the canvas measurements. My transfer paper is used with an Ink Jet printer and I do believe that all will be like this as you are going for a transfer of ink to an object. Set up your printer to how you want the images to print. All printers have paper and ink quality settings. Change the Preferences on the printer to how much ink you want to use and the type of paper. For a less intense image, I used regular printing for regular paper (I'll explain why in a minute). If you want a one and done project, go for high quality printing on heavier paper option. Put your paper in your printer as directed by the manufacturer and your printer. Usually it's as simple as the logo on the paper is placed face down. You want to print on the transfer side. Print out your images and let dry. Trim out your images. Lay out your canvas(s) and center your image where you want it with the transfer side face down on the canvas. Cover with parchment paper and hold in place. Using a hot iron, press and MOVE the iron around on your image for a few minutes. Let cool a minute or so. Slowly peel the backing off the transfer paper while checking to make sure your image transferred. If your image hasn't totally transferred, press back in place, cover with parchment again and iron some more. Repeat until you get total transfer when peeling. You can be done now if you like the results. For preservation, you might want to lightly spray the canvas with clear gloss. For myself, I am going further to create a 3D effect. I am now going to use acrylic paints to highlight portions of my images and add depth the the background. Once done I will spray with clear gloss. Once that dries, I am going to hot glue these canvases to a ribbon with a ring at the top for hanging. Good luck!
