I have bought this book as a gift twice now for friends who have parents with Alzheimer's. Initially, I had mentioned to a friend at church that my dear friend's mother was suffering. She told me about this book and how it helped her family when they were dealing with this.. I gave it to my friend and he said he found this book to be a great help. I've just sent a copy to a friend who lives in another state. I think as I write this the current Edition is 5 now.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a family member living with dementia! As I was reading through it I would share parts with various family members as it touched on so many situations that we have been experiencing. It has helpful suggestions on how to make life less stressful for the person living with dementia as well as family members. And the best part is that it's easy to read; it's not like reading a medical journal! Our goal should be to create moments of joy, not just for an Alzheimer's patient but everyone!
