It has shown up in everything from hot rods and classic Ford muscle cars to the extremely popular Fox chassis Mustang, and everything in between. It is right at home cruising the boulevard in your classic pickup or hot rod or making 9-second passes at the drag strip. It is a very versatile power plant that can idle in 100 degree heat all day or take turbo or blower boost like a champ! Available in 2011 to current Mustangs and F-150 pickups, as well as available as a brand new crate engine or custom built engine from multiple sources, there is a Coyote engine out there for any budget or project need. Like most enthusiasts, we like to buy the big decision items like engine, transmission, wheels, brakes, and more way before we need them. This means we need to store these items until our project is ready for them. While brakes, and even wheels, will fit on a shelf, it’s hard to get a used engine or a crate engine to fit on a typical shelf in your shop or garage. Having a proper way to store your Coyote V8 until you’re ready for it, or a way to transport it if you’re taking it for a rebuild or perhaps dropping it off at your chassis shop so that they can mock up engine mounts for it. Our Ford engine stand for the Coyote V8 is made right here in Lincoln, Nebraska from quality 10-gauge 2”x2” tubing and steel plate with 1/4-inch steel engine mount pads that are laser cut and hand welded in precise welding jigs for repeatable quality control. Our BlockDock™ stands are not universal in design, requiring adjustment of legs or mounting points. The compact design tucks the stand in for a small overall footprint while maintaining stability. The Ford engine cradle has 1/4-inch thick mount pads that bolt directly to the block for rigidity and we even include the correct 10mm mounting bolts (that store directly on the stand’s base in threaded storage holes) to mount the stand to your Coyote engine block, saving you the hassle of bolt bin digging for eight of the same metric bolts!
