These timers are really terrific. They are easy to set, easy to hear (which was a problem for me and prompted me to look for these), and they're really exact in counting the time. They are large enough to see but not big to put nearby. They have magnetic backs, a little stand as well as little cords so that you can put them just about anywhere you want.

Easy to use, perfect loudness....alarm goes off for 60 full seconds and they work counting up, or counting down...magnet to stick on fridge, etc - great for tons of uses, cooking timer, timing heat lamp, workouts, car warming up, appointment times, time to get ready,,,etc etc and etc. To buy 8 was only a buck more than cost for buying 3. I keep one on my desk, 1 on the fridge, 1 in the car and gave some away to mom, etc
