Delicious Eating with Quick Preparation

This was a ready from freezer to microwave to dinner table in five minutes and it has a great mix of protein, veggie, and rice. Great flavors we both thought it was a healthier dish to enjoy spur of the moment. So if you don't have dinner ready in a pinch this is a wonderful little life saver.

Okay, but I won't buy it again

I bought Kevin's because it was recommended in a review of frozen dinners. "Healthy and high quality." The Korean BBQ Chicken was the only product at WM at retail prices. Well, it was okay. The ingredients seemed a notch above other brands. The portion is large enough to satisfy. The chicken (apparently breast meat) is cut into little 1/4" cubes so it's in every bite. The sauce didn't overpower the ingredients. But it the bowl lacks seasoning. And the rice is a short grain variety that remains toothy - for me, too toothy. The price (nearly $6 if I recall correctly) is too high to be justified by the product.

Chicken pieces a bit shredded vs cubed or cut so I recommend microwaving at 0.7% power or it comes out rubbery and affects the flavor.
