A Great Alternative
I ordered a wrong exhaust system for my truck, and none of the hangers aligned quite right. Every time I hit the gas, the catalytic converter separated frojm the rest of the system. No matter how hard I cranked down on the U-bolts, this kept occurring. These wide banf clamps saved me from having to get the whole system replaced. Stainless steel won't suffer from the rust hat generally shortens the life of exhaust systems.. .

It gets the job done.
I had tried to seal a small 1/8" or so gap between the header pipe and exhaust pipe with sleeve clamps from a couple of other manufacturers, but they never did the job completely. I tried this Dynomax, and now I have no fumes and no noise. The thing is tighter than dried rawhide. Only "complaint" I have is that the heads of the bolts are not fixed in position - as in some other clamps of this type - so I had to manipulate two end wrenches, one between the pipe and the floor - not just one. Even so, it earns a solid four - maybe four and a half stars.
