It fit well and I didn't get any notifications or codes from printer. The only problem was when I first printed a test page only half the Paige printed, so I removed the new toner and shook it to get the toner inside mixed up…after that it worked well. Ad far as the quality of print. Although it's not quite as dark as a new OEM toner, is surprisingly dark enough. I will be buying this toner again

Went on the Brother website looking for this exact toner replacement and the price was $87.93. Whoa. I only paid $119 for the printer itself so explored other options. One said I should buy a cheap knockoff, take the chip out of the old toner and replace it in the cheap knockoff. That was $25. Then found Walmart was selling the same Brother replacement that went for $87.93 on their website for $25. That made it a no-brainer

Good value point, good product. I'm tired of Brother's cost for toner. This is a decent generic product. You might have to reset your printer in order to tell it the toner cartridge is new - that's all part of Brother sticking it to you! Don't blame these guys :-) They're helping your wallet! It isn't rocket science to reset. Just google your printer model and find a youtube. https://kb.princetonisd.net/books/classroom-troubleshooting/page/brother-hl-l2300d-toner-reset works for my printer!
