I bought this light because I needed a fan with light. This fan can cool down a small room. Good for a laundry room or any small size space. I needed to replace a two-bulb light that was broke. And I bought a new socket so I could use this fan %26 light 'it was a win' win for me. Has remote you can run fan %26 no light or light no fan 'or fan %26 light both. Has plastic blades dose make a small noise 'but nothing you can't get used to. You can set the light %26 fan on low %26 medium %26 high.
