A complete supplement in a single capsule

These are great multivitamins, but be aware if you have difficulty swallowing that they are large capsules. I like the 120 day (4 month) supply in a single bottle. This single capsule may replace several supplements that you take- vitamin D, CoQ10, Lutein, and Lycopene and Zinc for example. They do not contain extra iron, which older adults don't typically need, or extra calcium, which is recommended to come from dietary sources. The vitamin A comes as Beta carotene, which is the preferred way to take it. They were developed by cardiologists so their patients could take one tab instead of a handful of supplements for their heart health. Those people on cholesterol meds (statins) may find that the CoQ10 helps decrease muscle cramping or other side effects they may notice from their statins.

I have taken this supplement for two weeks and already have noticed a huge benefit. My knees don't hurt after a long run (10+ miles) and I can easily get through a tough plyometric workout without worry. For an active adult this supplement has been very helpful to me and my pursuit of life at my own pace and distance.
