Hunter - Shoes - WFS1013RMA

I'm short and have big calves, size 7.5 feet. Also don't have flexibility in ankle and heel so very difficult to put on dress boots, because I am unable to maneuver foot past narrow ankle opening of tight fitted boots…only able to put ball of foot past ankle opening of boots without side or back zipper. Hunter rain boots are made of rubber, so semi flexible, ankle area is almost as wide as boot opening, so with a bit of a tug-able work my ankle and heel into boot. Hunter come in whole sizes, so got a size 8, but tight for calves-fill boot opening- rubbing and smacking rim is breaking skin, so got a size 9, size up not too big for foot, the folded design around rim, made it roomy for calves-gives a nice gap, knee hi socks help with skin touching rubber/rim. I got matte blue, love blue, %26prefer matte to glossy. Rather than the heel, would have preferred 1/2 inch to one inch platform-flat style, so can run comfortably. Otherwise, really do like these boots…looks good with shorts, with skirt…and able to put/fit jeans-pants legs into them.
