Whirlpool 4 In. Igniter 9782065

My kitchenaid oven stopped heating up so after all my troubleshooting figured out it was the igniter. So I shopped around and there are so many places that sell this but the price ranges we're so extreme. I was at ktxhenaid and after shipping they wanted $95. Sears wanted $135. Most others were around 75-80. I figured I'll try Walmart and if it is a cheapo knockoff or it doesn't work I could always return it to the store down the street and get my $53 back. When it arrived in 3 days I took a look at it and it was ALMOST a identical unit as of what I needed and the quality of the unit seems OEM and made well I say ALMOST because one of the two connecters was a male and I needed 2 females. A little disappointing but my oven is 10 years old and whirlpool may have changed the design of the wiring for the current igniter. All I did was just cutoff the male and crimp on a new female(they are like pennies to buy) and presto my oven now is able to function again. The install took about 15 minutes.
