Product details
Mario Puzo's script for Superman was so long, there was enough material for two films, and that's how they started the project making two films at the same time. As the budget busted, and costs rose, Director Richard Donner and the producers parted ways. The first film reflected Donner's vision, but Richard Lester was brought in to finish the filming for Superman 2 and got full credit, even though much of the Donner footage was used. For the first time, a version of Superman 2 has been created to reflect Donner's original vision, which differs quite a bit from the version we all know. Fans will have to have this.
