Highly recommend. First, the cutting wheel. Surpringly, it is not circular but a dodecagon-shaped wheel (12-sides). The inner surface of the wheel rubs against a spring-loaded sharpener stone; the construction suggests the wheel shoulr remain sharp for considerable use. The test. Having purchased some artificial trees for decoration, the trees arrived in 7' boxes, cardboard boxes, 3/8" thick cardboard, that must have been used to transport Superman and his family as kids. The cardboard boxes resisted cutting with Dremel cutting wheel, cardboard razor, carpet cutting blades, tin snips (very, very slow cutting) and titanium scissors (even slower cutting). However, this tool - while not cutting like a hot knife through butter - zipped through the cardboard with minimum effort. Finally, the construction of the tool would limit cutting no more than 1/4" thick of cardboard. Although in all, very satisfied. Well worth the price. The carry case is perfect. Comes with instructions. Highly recommend.
