I like Chlorpheniramine Maleate 4mg Antihistamine, even though it only lasts 4-6 hours. Longer acting antihistamines I tried didn't work well. I have a chronic post-nasal drip, not lots of allergies. Claritin did nothing for me. Zyrtec knocked me out. Fexofenadine (generic of I can't remember what off the top of my head, but very well known brand) which I took for a while and decided it didn't do enough. Chlorpheniramine Maleate has been around for quite a while, I think. It seems to be enough to manage my drip, and it's relatively inexpensive. I rated value for price as 5 for the Walmart brand because it was a rock-bottom price—way less than in any pharmacies. May have even cost less than on Amazon. Really good price.
