Okay, so I am NOT the type to buy fancy silk sheets and pillowcases. I am a cotton girl, all the way. So, when I tried this pure silk pillowcase, I was very much awed. I know it sounds silly, but it felt like I was laying on air. It literally felt like there was nothing on my face. I couldn't believe it. I had to double check to make sure my face was actually touching the pillow. I wasn't hot or sweaty on the fabric. It was very nice. I have to assume that it has just as light a touch on my hair. My hair is very curly and pretty much stays unruly since I am home all of the time. So, I can't tell if there is less or no friction between it and my hair in comparison to cotton. Now, on to looks. I must say that I am not much into the color red. But the vibrant, rich red of this pillowcase continues to draw my eye, with only positive feelings being evoked. Of course, you can always get it in other colors. The stitching looks and feels top notch. I couldn't find one loose string or mistake. Finally, the packaging is also extremely nice...very simple, understated. It also looks and feels like fine quality packaging. This is the perfect product to get for someone if you want to pamper them or yourself.
