Infinity Instruments Satellite 23W x 23H in. Wall Clock

I am thrilled with this clock! My husband and I bought a condo and although we're not decorating in strictly mid-century style, we are decorating in strictly contemporary/modern style, and this clock fits right in and keeps great time! Plus, the price was fantastic! Hayneedle has the best price for this clock of any store out there, and the transaction was flawless, which I greatly appreciate. If you buy this clock, you won't be disappointed...unless you expect more for your money than a wonderfully inexpensive clock that only looks expensive. Here are some specifics: The clock is exactly 23"" in diameter. It is basically silent with just the faintest ticking sound, which I could hear only by placing my ear right up against it. The back center behind the face is plastic and contains a compartment for one AA battery. The ""bursts"" are metal--not a stiff, non-movable metal and not a weak, slink-over metal, but metal with a little flex to it because of the design. The face has a glass protecting the hands, which makes it look more high end than even some more expensive clocks. The description says the trim is walnut but I can't tell if it's an actual walnut, as in wood, or a simulated walnut. I'd have to take it apart to know for sure. If there is a con, I'd say it's that the walnut color is lighter than many pictures make it look. It matches the middle circle of the clock, although under certain lighting it does look just a tad bit darker. But it is definitely light, almost like a golden oak or maple. It's nowhere near a dark walnut color, and I wouldn't even consider it a medium walnut color. Overall, it's a fun, stylish, good-looking clock and a great buy! I'm very happy, and I think you will be too!
