The situation of persons with disabilities in the Ecuadorian ML (Paperback)

For the development of this study, the research objective was to analyse the situation of people with special abilities in the labour market in Ecuador during the period 2012 - 2017, which will allow us to identify the impact of the policies and laws established in the country on the process of labour inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as the importance of this process in improving the quality of life of this vulnerable group. This is why, for the development of this research, we started by identifying the problem that originated the study, in addition to knowing the background of the inclusion process in Ecuador; in order to know the evolution of this process during the study period. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the development of this work allowed us to corroborate that the establishment and execution of laws and programmes on disability have contributed to increase the number of people inserted in the labour market of the country and to socialise and raise awareness among the population about the rights of this group.
