Purchased for upcoming cruise from Rome to Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar. Useful and detailed information covering many Mediterranean ports. More geared to Eastern Mediterranean ports than Western Mediterranean ports. We have used Rick Steve's guides before and they are worth the money. Good, practical travel advice.

Western Med Cruise

Cruised a lot but never Europe. Heading to Western Med in May. Rick Steve's guidebooks give so much detailed info. Tours on ship are pricey so he explains trips you can plan yourself. Glad I purchased.
