Thill makes the absolute best weighted bobber. I've only ever had to replace them when my children, or someone borrowing one, threw them into rocks, trees, or snagged the line and lost them. By using the weighted bobber, I never have to put a weight on my line when fishing a live cricket, worm, or minnow, for crappie, pan fish, or small catfish. This allows the bait to fall more naturally or a wounded minnow swim freely. The spring is simple to use to attach to the line. This stick bobber is very visible and is very sensitive. It flies through the air straight and helps send the line and bait further and accurately to more precise spots that plastic and other lighter stick bobbers can't do. I haven't bought a different bobber in over 30 years. An essential part of fishing for food and not so much for catch and release fishing.
