The Rest Haven Classic Framed Wood Platform Bed came delivered and sat there till I got home. My wife couldn't budge it in its box. Took everything in me to move it by walking it from one corner to the other to get it inside and up 1 step. This is heavy. I highly recommend opening the box wherever it is delivered to – and taking the pieces out instead of moving one at a time. Everything came out fine – 2 allen wrenches are included for assembly, which took only about 2 hours to assemble. Please make sure to following directions on headboard legs and side rails on which pieces go where – as they are easy to confuse – making you have to disassemble and fix errors. Looks great – like classic old barn wood – but make completely of particle board. We did not use the middle slats – as we only need a frame around our adjustable bed – which has its own frame. However, for those needing it, the 4-piece slat roll provides plenty of sturdy support for all different mattress types. Ours came in a queen size – and we are quite pleased with it!
