[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old pump with this Intex pump and I like it a lot,I take the filter out and rinse it off weekly . I replace my filter monthly. No more sand in the bottom of the pool and it filters the water a lot better. I highly recommend!

So much better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this pump as an upgrade from what came with our pool. Our pool had a skimmer filter. We left the skimmer on it but ran the hose from the skimmer to the new pump and another hose from the pump to the inlet valve. It works 1000 times better. You can.actually see the debris sucking into the skimmer.
