Let good shine after drying!

OMG I'm obsessed with these Mirning Star chorizo crumbles! they're kind of salty, but I don't care. They are so good. I make Mexican dishes out of them and sometimes I just eat them with whatever vegetable I like on the side and then sometimes I put the vegetables on top or put this on top of the vegetables and let the seasoning season the vegetables because it's so salty but it's so good. I can't stop buying them. Texture and taste is close to the real pork chorizo. Storage bag does not reseal well, so I just fold it and put in a ziplock. If thawing the whome bag but using in portions, the "juice" will leak and make a reddish brown mess. STILL WORTH BUYING REPEATEDLY!

Amazing vegan alternative

As a vegan of 6 years, finding tasty alternatives to things that I was used to before is crucial. Being Mexican, chorizo and eggs are a staple breakfast. I've tried a lot of different chorizo alternatives to varying degrees of success. These crumbles taste almost exactly the same as the non-vegan version and they are extremely easily accessible (at Wal Mart of all places!). I was so happy when they introduced a "value" version because one bag does last me a bit. A little goes a long way and it's actually great protein and calories for the serving. I have nopal and chorizo tacos, potato and chorizo tacos, egg and chorizo tacos, mac and cheese with chorizo, salad bowls with chorizo. I just really love these!

Great flavor and texture, quick cooking!

I've tried many vegetarian chorizos over the years. I have a favorite and had to force myself to try this Morning Star version. I was very happily surprised. This one is already crumbled and cooks a lot faster, so prep is quick. The taste and texture are great. Note: because it's frozen, it actually lasts a lot longer, because I'm not throwing out half the container 2 weeks later. Now I use this one all. the. time.
