By and of itself, these are flimsy fabric and not made to last long. I am using these for a privacy screen, so I backed mine with a sun shade. It keeps them from flopping all over, getting caught in the trees and enables them to last more than 1 season.

What makes this work is how you use it. I live in the trees and with winds...I mounted it to a sun screen and it works well. Looks good with total privacy, but on its own...it is just fair.
