Slim Tower Humidifier

This product works well. I would give it a 5 star but the design is a little too difficult. The water reservoir has to be filled sideways which is not easy. You pretty much have to lay it flat and fill it with water with a jar or pail.

When I first bought this unit, it was great. Now that I have had it for a couple of months, I'm not too sure about it. At first humidity level had no problem getting into the 30's & 40's. Now it constantly reads 21%. Now the FilterCheck indicator is constantly on "change". I just put in brand new Holmes filters 2 days ago and the indicator never went to "good". It only made it to the middle divider between "good" & "change". Very frustrating. Also the tank handle seems like it is coming loose. There are 2 small screws that hold the handle to the tank, which holds 1.3 gals (over 10 lbs) of water. Waiting for it to come off while I have a full tank in my hands. Be careful when filling tank. When filling you have the tank upside down and have to rest tank on handle. The problem is that the top of the tank is a "point" so you cannot stand it up easily. You have to balance the tank, remove the cap, fill the tank and replace the cap, while the tank wobbles back and forth. I believe that the people that design these do not use them. I do however like the ease of cleaning the unit. Cover & filter rack come out very easily, just twist the locking knob and off they come. Thought I was buying a really good humidifier, but not too sure now.
