Pacifica Island Art uses an environmentally-friendly Unryu Japanese rice paper made by the Awagami Factory in Tokushima, Japan. Unryu, which translates to 'cloud dragon paper' in Japanese, features long strands of kozo fiber and is made from natural mulberry and hemp fibers using traditional Japanese Washi techniques - ABOUT THE ARTIST - Guillermo Bolin - William "Guillermo" Bolin Born in Spain, the illustrator and photographer, Bolin, worked for Vogue and Vanity Fair in the 1920’s and 1930’s. His illustrations reflected the Art Deco style that was prevalent during that period and his photography reflected the shift from Pictorialism to Modernism.
