I have forgotten one very important thing......I have 6 cats, and they all like to sit on whatever they can. High or low you'll find at least two of them there. I have to admit though they respond to my terrorizing yell when they are where they shouldn't be. Wish them luck. (3 were little tiny things that actually followed a very skinny but beautiful silky gray with big round green eyes MOTHER after I'd taken her in the day before but had escaped that morning!! Then this last one is a silky totally black that I rescued from her mother who'd already lost two of her original five. I didn't want this one to be the third so I brought her inside and bottle fed until she was oriented to eating wet cat food. My 5-year old tortoise, Willow, is just now lovin' up to Pepper, the black silky one with whom I've bonded with since day one. She's become a nose-butt-er instead of a head butt-er! Soooo cute.) I have often thought of finding something like this table for a lot of years so I'm really looking forward to using it. The folding legs are perfect and I'm most positive it will straddle my long 4' ottoman which is about 24" wide. The legs should rest on the floor. I'm anxious to use the drawers which are the cleverest thing to have on this table!
