I bought two since I am a beginner
I didn't do my research about beginning hoopla hooping until after I ordered my hoop. I learned that the hoop needs to be between your navel and your throat for ease of learning. This hoop was below my navel. The smaller the hoop, the faster it spins and the larger the hoop, the slower it spins and that is why it can be so difficult for beginners. What I have done is ordered another hoop so I can add sections to make my hoop the proper size.

It is not smooth on the inside so it kind of hurts your stomach as you use it. I wear a thicker shirt to help. Wish it was heavier as well
