He worked most of his life as an engineer, technician and architect. Following an operation he became disabled from 1942 to 1948 and taught himself graphic design. Daniele Buzzi painted, drew and lithographed landscapes, mainly from the Ticino (Tessin), and is rightly considered to be the founder of Ticinese poster art.
