Buyer beware, poles broke after the first use.

I took the trekking poles out for a-12 mile hike round trip. They worked on the way up. On the way down, the poles couldn't lock at all. They were unusable after 7 miles. I had to use uneven poles on the way down which was very frustrating. I had another pair of.poles that I bought 12 years ago and they still work fine. I'm very disappointed with how these poles perform. I contacted the seller regarding their poles broke after the first use and heard nothing from them. If you plan to buy these poles, make sure that you read this review first.
