Sizing so inconsistent

I am normally a size 12 in jeans, however i seem to be a size 14 in GA. Ordered the 14 however the jeans are too large in the stomach area unfortunately, they fit pretty well everywhere else. (i usually never have this issue) I like to purchase GA jeans because of the compression in the abdomen, however these pants are lacking that compression that i have found in several other GA jeans. Unfortunately they will be returned which is too bad because they are soooo cute.
