It's more like 2 minute cooking time, but still a quick, healthy and delicious breakfast before work. I personally put apple butter (2 full spoons for about 2 servings) after I take it out of the microwave. It tastes just like their apple and cinnamon instant oatmeal but healthier and cheaper.

The Quaker Old Fashioned Instant Whole Grain Oatmeal is an excellent product, overall. The oats cook easily as directed on the packaging, whether stove-top or microwave. The oats don't break down during the cooking process, consistently retain their texture, and are extremely flavorful (not to mention nutritious). After cooking I often add a small amount (teaspoon) of brown sugar, tab of butter, a few slices of banana and peanut butter, which add robust flavor. I highly recommend the Quaker Old Fashioned Instant Whole Grain Oatmeal. 5-stars.

I eat this all the time!!

I have been eating these for years and they have never failed me. I eat oatmeal for inflammation daily with strawberries. This oatmeal doesn't have a bland taste but you can had fruit to enhance.
