Gripper Non-slip Nouveau Tufted Chair Cushions, Set of 2, 15" x 16"

fit on my chairs well, true to size. do not slide around, stay in place when get up and down, good grip. color is nice, has almost slight sparkle. almost returned for thicker one, as for some reason i had thought I'd ordered a thicker one, but didn't return as comfortable, even when sitting for a period of time like playing cards. turns out not as bulky as the other ones i have in Florida.

Machine washable and very durable. Fabric looks a bit like corderoy but is much more durable. I bought the first set several years ago and they suffered heavy daily use with messy teens. The tags say to spot wash only, and the fabric holds up well with no pilling,, but after a few years, I decided to try the washing machine. I ordered a new set in case they got ruined in the wash, but to my surprise, they came out looking identical to the brand new ones! The fabric doesn't feel very thick so I am surprised at how durable it is. No fading of the red color after all this time. No fraying seams either. One caution is that the rubbery backing that keeps the cushion from slipping can eventually leave a residue on the chair seat. The residue cleans off or wears off by itself so it's not a problem for me, but I suspect that some antique wood varishes might not be compatible.I love these cushions. Sadly I suspect they are phasing it out because it was offered in more colors when I bought the first set.
