I would recommend to friends and family.

These were gifts for toddlers. The textured surface make catching the ball a bit easier for little hands. The graphics brought a lot of joy and delight when unwrapped. My only real complaint is that the ball was somewhat dirty. I had to clean with soap and water to make presentable as a gift. But the joy it brought made up for it.
