Soft, washes well. Use outside the cat box trying to cut down on litter tracking. Same color as litter so doesnt look instantly completely filthy. I shake it back into the box every other day, means I don't feel the grit if i step on it. Again washes nicely if my boy decides rug is best to vomit on even though linoleum is mere inches away. I really like the BH%26G products at Walmart and these bath mats did not disappoint. They are so soft and plush and big. The green color is just a tiny bit bluish, but it's fine. I'm using several shades of green in the bathroom, so they coordinate well. They are well made, have not slipped at all and are machine washable %26 can be tumble dried low.
