As the world livestock population increasing day by day the avilabilty of feed and fodder for livestock is also come at its verge. But, then also in most of the parts of the world the trend of livestock feeding is going in a conventional way. Therefore we have conducted a study in a commercial farm of buffaloes to let the owner know that how much losses he is bearing due to conventional feeding. We have also observed that not only the livestock owner rather the society is also bearing a load of this conventional feeding by bearing the increasing cost of milk production. After some years the feed becomes so deficit that it will not be avilable for feeding for animal and it also cause disturbance in the food chain.
