Since I didn't read the directions, I initially believed I had blown it up (I mean, I'm a bloke after all!). It requires 5 volts at 1 amp, so I gave it 12 volts plus, god knows how many amps, but somehow, it worked once I used the correct voltage and current. Fantastic piece of equipment in me Camper vans provide beautiful lights; consider getting the larger one for the disco lights under the awning!
