Energetic Lighting's Self-test GFCI receptacle is different from conventional receptacles, GFCI is the smart choice in ground fault circuit interrupter protection. This GFCI outlet meet the latest UL standard for loop detection with auto-monitoring. In the event of a ground fault, and will trip in a short 25 milliseconds and quickly stop the flow of electricity to prevent serious injury. If it is not wired correctly, reset lockout mechanism prevents reset of the GFCI and stop power through to downstream devices, the green LED indicator on the surface of GFCI also lights up to remind the installation personnel of the line load reversal. 1.05" slim body depth leaves more room for wiring and makes it easier to install in electrical boxes. Tamper-resistant shutter safety mechanism blocks access to power unless a plug is inserted, providing an extra layer of safety in households with children. Weather-resistant let it to be installed in wet or damp locations you want, such as bathroom, kitchen, garage, basement and so on.
