The Mainstays brand steel folding chair folds nicely for storage, has a nice smooth finish and is quite comfortable to sit in. It isn't padded, so it is easier to clean and is about as comfortable as a folding chair can be. We use ours all the time when we have guests, and they hold up well.

Folding chairs all seem to be the same to me unless they are old, rusting and unstable. This chair will last ages. It is stable and well made. I currently have it in the garage. I have been using it at a card table to put my shoes on and do odd jobs in the garage. I even used it to stand on to wash my son's truck. The chair does not wobble or feel like it will ever give out. The only odd thing when it arrived was one plastic cap had fallen off before I noticed it was missing. It went back on easy enough but I did mess the gray paint up a little.
