You need a reservoir. Great value for the money!
Assembled in minutes! I used the bucket to an aero cloner I outgrew as the reservoir. I also have two air stones and an additional air pump running in the reservoir just to keep really good air flow in the water. I've got about 20 seedlings going at the moment.

Bought as a gift , came in one compact box, no complaints yet! I will update as they start using it. Very easy to assemble, came with all the instructions to assemble. Timer is a good option because the pump runs only five minutes for every 30 minutes, 10, 15 minutes Options are also there. Works very good.

I am also happy that the hydroponic system takes up very little energy. Most importantly, everyone loves it, it feels good to watch your food grow, almost therapeutic for me. I bought it to explain my daughter things about plants and to have fresh herbs at home. Great tank capacity, have it since 2 weeks, so far so good
