I first purchased a plastic handled one. It was small and the blade guard springs moved like they were rusty. I Returned it and bought this one. Great purchase! Being 100% stainless steel it has a nice solid weight to it. The blade guard moves smoothly allowing blades to move in and out of meat. The tenderizer did the work not my arm. I have a side of beef and this is well worth the money.
