Large Frontier

This knife is appropriately sized for bushcraft and camp tasks. The comfortable handle and close to quarter inch thick 1095 high carbon spine extending to a half inch of the stout tip make this a good blade for fire prep and it is heavy enough for chopping wrist sized branches (though not the first choice for such duty) While I wouldn't want to try shaving with it the blade did come functionally sharp out of the box. The nylon sheath comes with a ferro rod holder and ferro rod, and a plastic liner and a metal snap retention strap . For the price point this is really a must purchase item. Points to note the sheath is right hand carry only and bushcraft purists will object to the thickness of the blade.
