I am a licensed near cosmetologist and this is hands down my favorite shampoo for volume. it doesn't leave a coating on your hair. it lathers really well. The bottle says it lasts for 72 hours and it literally does. not only does it give me volume but my hair just seems so much more fuller. I'm 40 years old and I grew up with a head full of really long thick hair and after two kids and aging my hair significantly thinned out but I feel like my old self again when I use this shampoo. I can get my hands on any product because of my license and I love this shampoo. I would pick this over anything any day! I like it even more than k-19. I just started using the conditioner as well and I also really love the conditioner. I would say my hair type is coarse strands and my hair is naturally straight I am Peruvian. But yeah I'm obsessed. in general with any shampoo I like to do head and shoulders once a week or once every other week to remove any buildup. But honestly since I started using this I haven't used the head and shoulders maybe I'll move to just using that once a month now. Even if you're not looking for volume you just want your hair to be fuller this hands down does that job as well the best out of anything I've ever bought before!
