This print will look wonderful framed in the home, office or restaurant and is perfect for the Vintage Art Collector. - ABOUT THE ARTIST - Sepo - Sepo (Severino Pozzati) (1895-1983) One of the most important artists in the world of the Italian and international advertising poster, Sepo made his debut as a painter and sculptor exhibiting in Bologna alongside Giorgio Morandi. Around 1920 he moved to Paris where he was hired by the French branch of the Maga agency, for which he will produce a good number of posters, all unsigned. The pseudonym Sepo was adopted in the mid-1920s when Pozzati worked for the Publivox agencies in Geneva and Dorland in Paris. In the French capital he opened Studio Idea in 1932, which was active until the 1950s, when the artist returned to our country for good. Sepo's best period dates back to the 1920s and 1930s, when he achieved considerable critical acclaim, so much so that he was compared to the great French poster artists Carlu and Cassandre. The production of posters for Italian companies is not very vast, and is mainly concentrated in the post-war period, with less innovative graphic works.
